Outdoor Boudoir Photography
When you think of a boudoir session the first thing that comes to mind is probably the bedroom. It’s true boudoir is most often photographed in an indoor setting but if you are looking for an adventure this might be the session for you.
One of my favorite parts of shooting outdoors?
WATER!
Imagine the water dripping from your skin, splashing against you and making you wet.
Where do outdoor sessions take place?
These sessions can take place anywhere, anywhere outdoors that is!
A beach, creek, amongst the rapids, in a field of sunflowers, wheat or wildflowers and even in the city!
Manitoba has so many beautiful outdoor spaces to explore where you can truly be one with nature.
What do I wear for an outdoor boudoir session?
Lingerie, yes even outside,
Crop tops,
Nothing but your birthday suit or gold flakes as seen above,
A fun jacket,
A flirty dress,
Sexy bathing suit….
The best part is there really is no limitation on what you can or can’t wear for your session. I would suggest avoiding anything too formal but other then that it’s about exploring, having fun and trying new things. What you wear is less important than you think.
What else should I bring for my outdoor boudoir photoshoot?
Items may vary depending on the outdoor location but a few items I suggest bringing along are:
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Towel or Robe (maybe both)
Water shoes or sandals you don’t mind getting wet
An adventurous attitude
